Job Title: Manager – QMS & Risk Management Coordination (1 Post) Job Reference Number: GDC/HRM/SP/QMSRC/MQMS&RC/01/2026 Terms of Employment: Five (5) Year Contract, renewable subject to satisfactory performance. Job Grade: GDC 3 Department: QMS & Risk Management Coordination Reports To: General Manager – Strategy & Planning Salary Range: KES 220,000 – KES 330,000 per month. a) Job DescriptionDuties and responsibilities will entail: i. Implementation of quality and risk management systems and initiatives, acquisition and maintaining quality management system certification, enforcement and compliance with quality standards ii. Preparing Risk Management and Quality Assurance plan for the company. iii. Developing and tracking Risk Register and Quality Assurance metrics for performance improvement throughout the organization. iv. Identifying quality improvement opportunities and lead quality improvement activities. v. Identifying best practices and lead continuous improvement initiatives to reduce work process risks and improve efficiency. vi. Developing, administering, and supervising company-wide risk management policies and procedures vii. |
| Job Specification | b) Person SpecificationsFor appointments to this grade, an officer must have: - i. A minimum period of twelve (12) years’ relevant work experience four (4) of which must have been in a managerial role. ii. Bachelor’s Degree in any of the following disciplines: - Commerce, Economics, Business, Administration, ICT, Mathematics, Statistics, Engineering, Sciences or equivalent qualification from a recognized institution iii. Master’s degree or Post Graduate Diploma in any field related to quality assurance and safety or its equivalent qualification from a recognized institution. iv. Management course lasting not less four (4) weeks (cumulative). v. Membership IEK or any other relevant professional body/institution. vi. Proficiency in computer applications; and vii. Fulfilled the requirements of Chapter Six of the Constitution of Kenya
